Miss Cool

We have really enjoyed spending the week with my parents. Piper was in an awesome mood the whole time they were here. She played hooky from school on Tuesday and Wednesday so Grandma could watch her. They both had a blast.

On Monday afternoon, I took Piper to the doctor because she STILL had a snotty nose and was coughing. The doctor looked in her ears and said they were both very infected. Since she had recently been on an antibiotic for an ear infection, he decided the best remedy would be for her to have a shot of the high-powered rocephin. Apparently the shot was very painful, but within an hour, she was in a great mood, and she has been since. She goes back to the doc tomorrow, so he can check to make sure her ears are not infected anymore.

We leave on Tuesday to visit Mimi and Papa (and Brian and Jaydee) in Palm Desert.
