Saturday a day of Fun, Sunday a day of Fever

We had an exceptionally nice day Saturday. It began with children/adult yoga and an art session at our favorite coffee shop. We all had a great time. Piper's attention span lasted about 2/3 of the yoga class; she's still a bit young. Later in the afternoon we all went to the fitness center for a short swim followed by a short walk in the neighborhood. All great, however later in the evening her temperature began to rise and by 2 this morning it had risen to 103.3˚. This morning it was down slightly but has consistently been above 100˚ all day. We resisted taking her to Urgent Care, but ultimately called her doctor who was kind enough to call in an anti-viral which she began taking this evening. We will keep her home tomorrow, hopefully she will quickly be back to her joyful self.
