Hi, How Are You?

Mmmm... banana!
I think she's offering Sean banana that was just in her mouth. Yum!
Look at the pretty new carseat.
Look at the pretty little girl.

Today Piper went to her first Mother's Day Out. It went much better than I was expecting. I dropped her off at 9, with no tears from either of us. I asked the woman in charge to please call me if she got too upset. Around 11, she called because Piper was a little fussy. She was probably tired, so I suggested that they rock her. Apparently it worked, because I didn't get another call until 12:30, when the report was that she was "really upset". Of course, I dropped everything and ran, but by the time I got there, she was fine. I left and didn't go back until it ended at 2.

I managed to run 5 miles, have a leisurely cup of coffee at a nearby coffee shop, and do some shopping at my favorite thrift store around the corner. I was hoping to clean the house a bit, but I guess that will have to wait until next Tuesday.

I love the new car seat--we bought Tottie a leash that has a similar flower pattern (Jack chewed through both their leashes yesterday--bad puppy). Anyway, the carseat picture with her laughing is my new desktop background. Glad to hear Mother's Day Out went well--cleaning is over-rated anyhow :)

Congratualtions to you both - It sounds like you both did great! I don't know which is harder - when they cry for you not to go or when they don't.
