Piper and I are having a great time visiting Sean's parents in Palm Desert, CA. We've been eating good food and relaxing. Piper is going to be the best swimmer in her swim class after we spent hours yesterday practicing her "kick, kick, kicks".
Today we had lunch with Dave Conover and his lovely girlfriend, Jennifer In spite of Piper's grumpy mood, we were able to have a nice time.
The scenery here is just beautiful. I enjoyed a nice run this morning looking up at the mountains. Oh, and Brian, I can't hook my ipod up to the computer here, so I think we need to put our challenge on hold ;).

It has been a very special week, having Kristen and Piper with us. I had no idea that it would be so much fun being a grandparent.

Kris--thanks for sending the challenge my way, but I'm chicken and won't take it up. I'm going to say it's because of final papers (2 down , 4 to go!), but really it's because I haven't jogged since February :)
